New XBox's, Wii's, or PS in the near future?

Is it wise to buy one of these in the next couple months, or is their speculation that all or any of them would come up with a new model just in time for xmas?

    They're not coming out with a next-gen for probably 1.5-2 yrs. After the recent 360 and PS3 price drops, they're banking on those systems to get more traction over the next few years. I think either Wii will have some type of pricebreak or new bundle to come out for xmas, or be the first to hop to the next gen.

    Yeah you're good for a while.

    Most analysts predict at least 2-3 years more for the current cycle. Hell, Microsoft is even going to use the Project Natal add-on release as a way to practically re-launch the 360 next year, so they're not looking into changing hardware anytime soon.

    it will be awhile before new systems come out. it could be a very long time. i just bought a new PS3 once the price dropped.

    I will predict that the 360 and PS3 are going to be around for years to come.
    Sony tries to push a 10 year life cycle on all systems...not to say a PS4 wouldn't come out before that, but support will be there for 10.
    Microsoft has a lot of things coming out in the next couple of years...


    Wii is a waste of time. :lol:

    Anyways, you can't go wrong getting a PS3 or 360 at this point. Both are great systems that will give you years of entertainment!

    Hell, get both and you'll really be set!! :D

    Wii is reportedly going down to $199 starting the week of the 27th.
