because your accountants fucked up and didn't file one of your t4's...
...especially when you made damn sure all the t4s were there, because the year before you owed the government money for not giving in one of your t4s...
then you can't really do anything about it because its your mom's friend who is the accountant...
...and so you sit there in the office while they both tell you its only money...

...which doesnt make things any better because you are a student without a loan trying to pay off bills and tuition each semester at a time...
...and now you're forced to take out a student loan because this has made it impossible to save up for the next semester...

"its only money" when you are a -so called- professional accountant making a lot more figures a year than a 2nd year student working at a part time job.

oh and why's it related to pearl jam?
because instead of apologizing, the accountant and my mom went on about how I have money for pearl jam concerts and travelling to Seattle (a two hour drive.) :|

i won't tell you the sum I owe my useless government but i can assure you its a lot more than 4 tickets.
live pearl jam is best pearl jam

I'm so thankful to have parents who not only are okay with my music addiction - but support me in numerous ways. My guitar collection is growing rapidly, and I love 'em all, and wouldn't dare part with any of them, even my Squier bass.

  • My dad sees them as a lump sum of cash, and quite a hefty one at that.I made the mistake of taking him to a guitar show in LA and showing him how much some of my geetars are worth...he then kinda flipped out...I have a 1958 Les Paul, all original and very clean, 8 years ago, they were going for well over $150,000, depending on condition, of course.....but today, I'd much rather have my guitars than his 401k ;)
