I've seen her a few times and she is great live! A word of warning though - Juliette has a tendency to stage dive and crowd surf so if you're near the front she may end up landing on your head! At Lollapalooza she jumped into the crowd and at one point actually stood on my shoulders! It was one of the coolest but weirdest moments I've experienced at a gig!

  • Saw her open for Chris Cornell in early 07 (before the sucky album ;) ) and then again at Lolla. Very punky, good show. I would check them out again if they opened for someone or we were at a festival. And yes, she likes to crowdsurf and she gets quite sweaty so if you're in the front watch out! :o

  • I saw her a few years back at a small club, and like others have said she gets into it, she gets sweaty and rocks out massively. Not overly sure about her new record "Terra Incognita." She's dropped the Licks and most of the songs are hard to get into right off the bat.

Yeah, they sound great live, Juliette is like a female Iggy Pop.

  • saw her in a small club a few years back. high energy, awesome punk-type show. not sure what it will be like with the new record, but I'd still go see her again.

So did she just give up acting to do this gig? I seem to remember reading somewhere someone say that "all actors want to be musicians and all musicians want to be actors". Too often the results aren't favorable. But from what I've heard of Juliette's stuff it was pretty cool, and I liked what I heard from Billy Bob Thornton's band. I'm still holding out Don Johnson puts out another album. :)

    man,
I was always blown away by her voice in Natural Born Killers. She can sing! Hoping to catch them when they come through Ft Lauderdale in a few weeks. I heard the band is pretty good too.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)

no, she didn't. she still does both, but I think her main outlet now is music. She was a guest star on My Name is Earl a couple years back, and she's currently got 3 movies in post-production right now. No wonder she's still single! Busy lady!!

I am missing some of the bonus tracks off her various albums:

    From You're Speaking My Language:
Get Your Tongue Wet (Japanese bonus track)
Hey You Hey Man (from the YSML single)

From ....Like A Bolt of Lightning:
I Am My Father's Daughter (UK bonus track)

Anyone have these and can help me out?
