Bleh....

I hope they ask me to work all weekend.......


If I am not working...

I will go to the pool on Saturday...
Then go out to dinner with my mommy.....Yesterday was her birthday....

Sunday and Monday?????

Sleep
Eat
Sleep
Eat
Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

    i was thinking i'd be in the office late tonight plus tomorrow....but it looks like instead they will hold off and utterly BURY me in OT next week instead. so yes, if i actually manage to lave 2 hours early or on time today, i plan on thoroughly enjoying the weekend, and SLEEPING....to prepare myself for next week!

    hubby has to work tomorrow, but hopefully he'll leave early, maybe go out for mexican.....party on sunday.....and sleep, sleep, sleep on monday! and sure, lots of food and wine in the interim. 8-)

    I have a company outing at the Brewers game tomorrow. Kinda pissed about it. Besides not being a Brewers fan, I have to put up with these clowns all day during the week, so the last thing I want to do on a Saturday afternoon is stand around with them and try to make conversation. Plus it prevented me from making any travel plans for the long weekend. But there will be free beer and food, so I guess I got that going for me....

    it's secretly referred to as "forced socialization" where I work. we have to eat lunch together sometimes.

    Saturday = Family BBQ. We're making my special ribs
    Sunday = Airshow
    Monday = Makig fun of the kids all day that they have to go back to school
    Tuesday = Taking the day off work, dropping the kids of at school, and playing golf with my wife
    Wednesday = Corporate Golf Tournament

    Working tonight...then off on Saturday/Sunday. Coming in on Monday for a couple hours as a favor. Working 4 hours, getting paid for 8. Gotta love holiday double time.

    This Monday I turn 50 :shock:, it's a good think I act 30 ;) , but unfortunate that I feel 65 w/ injuries :cry: . I am lucky enough to be Alive & breathing, though. I get plenty of rest too, my weekends last 349 days ;) . I work ( volunteer) 1 week in Breckenridge Co. during ski-spectacular week with the wounded warriors, then add a day or 2 a month till the ski season ends. At my age I need the rest :lol: .

    Oh, and even better, on Monday the store will be open for the first time ever on Labor Day. And I get to work, yay????

    Hmmm....well at this point I work part time, so no overtime, but I damn well better be getting time and a half on Monday.

    Oh, and guess what I found out today at work??? The full timers STILL get a paid holiday for Monday, and NONE of them are working it.

    God Damn I hate my job. I'm sorry, but if the store is open, people should NOT receive a paid holiday IMO.

    Hope you're all enjoying your weekend :-)

    My town has an artsy--fartsy fair all weekend, which includes a beer garden (aka beer-in-a-fence) and awesomely bad 80s cover bands....i found myself there yesterday :-)
