    Creed?
    :lol::lol:
    Creed is a solid band, much better and talented than anyone makes them out to be. Mark Tremonti is a genius on guitar.

    In that situation you posted, he's the only guitarist playing thats why the transitions are terrible, honestly I think his tone is great but its far more metal based than McCready or Pearl Jams in general
    No point in arguing though, its all opinion, though I've never seen any Pearl Jam fan give Creed or Tremonti any credit whatsoever, and Tremonti is a far better guitarist than McCready and Stone

    Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix were the only guitarists and they never sound that crappy

    You're right. There is not point in arguing. It's not even close. Technical ability is about 10% of what makes a guitarist great. I'd say McCready and Gossard are about 93% better than Tremonti. Everything he plays sounds the same.

    Agree with DewieCox here about Tremonti. Technique is one thing, but to bring an emotional feel to what you're doing easily overrides anything technical. Tremonti has no versatility, he just plays the one style all the time. So boring to listen to. I just don't feel him at all.
  • eh whatever I like him :o8-)
