them crooked vultures presale...

does anyone know how or where to get the presale password? I am signed up on their website and through Live Nation, but never got a presale password. anyone know... I will be away saturday and was hoping to get tickets.

    I passed on the tickets, I'm not sure if I will be in town that week so I didn't finish the order. Are you going? I might try and get a pair on Saturday just incase, I am sure they will be easy to get rid of.

    Yep, I got a pair.. was much easier than I anticipated. Just for kicks I was testing the waters for their Metro show in Chicago last month, and the entire ticketing site went down. I got off pretty quickly. (Anyone who tried, please don't shoot me :? )

    I was at their 1st show at the Metro. Needless to say it was an amazing concert. Their paperless ticket option worked great, except the line to get in moved really slowly. They took 2 forms of ID from you and crossed your name off the list. If you bought 2 tickets your friend had to be next to you and they put the bad-ass wrist bands on right there. It kind of made an already rare experience feel even more exclusive.

    What worked for me on getting tickets was finding the site that actually sold them the night before and bookmarking it rather than going through the Metro's page. From what I heard, the link on the metro's website crashed well before 10am.

    why cant i get tix to anything these days? like i really never ever get through no matter what concert.

    i think i got ten club tix one time only (obviously it was for philly when they had extras).

    i even bookmarked this presale too.

    and everyone always posts right after how easy a time they had.

    there must be some kind of trick i dont know??

    DC was a bitch. However, I got screwed because it started before 10 am. I got on the site at 9:58 to be ready to go, and the pre-sale was already running. That's some serious bullshit. I kept trying for the next fifteen minutes, to no avail. And then it locked out the ticketing system and said all pre-sale tickets were sold out. Sucks.

    thats wierd, i remember refreshing until at least 10:03 before they finally popped up (sold out of course). hopefully we do better on Saturday...

    actually i read about the metro show in the redeye one day, and noticed grohl was in it, although i hadnt heard of them before that. thats a pretty sweet group, is it pretty solid music?
