SLH, Sea anyone, with all the hub hub over the YEARS about how well NYC treats PJ, why do we only get 2 shows? Bruce plays here for a week at a time. Since people are coming from ALL OVER THE WORLD to see you guys, maybe you should stay longer. MSG is not the only place, maybe outdoors at the Meadowlands for a couple days. That place is huge and would fill a great void in tickets for the people around the globe. I know we do get more shows then others, but since the cross roads of the world comes together here, maybe we could get a few more. Not trying to be greedy. I DID get BOTH MSG shows after relentlessly trying for over 40 minutes both times, but I would love more shows. Maybe even a limit on the amount of shows TC members could buy. 2 shows is ok for a 5 show stop. Thanks for taking the time to read. Bear

I think having 5 shows with 5 hours is plenty. Would i love more? Of course. Can I afford it? No but that wouldnt stop me.

5 hours!! Thats crazy. People dont travel half way around the world to come to NYC to only travel another 5 hours by car,bus or train to see another show. We need more NYC shows to calm the swell of missed tickets.

In 2003, they added the PNC Bank Arts Center show, before they headed south of the border. Perhaps, they'll do the same this year. That show was incredible, too.

They felt a commitment to honor the request to play the south...sadly they were humiliated.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.
  • Personally, I think they should do a small venue fan club only show in NYC. Along with the two MSG shows. So we can all fight over those tickets...lol. But no honestly, it would be awesome if they add a few small venue dates in the Northeast.

    Put it this way...

I live really close to albany...

I'm going to see them 4 times this tour...

I will not have to travel more than 2-3 hours to see them.

    That's pretty insane....

A lot of fans aren't so lucky.
  • Having more shows in NYC would do nothing to solve the ticket shortage because the same freaking people would go to all of the freaking shows! (If I lived in NYC, I would include myself in that...)

NYC isn't the center of the universe for everyone. Two shows are enough for you, I think! ;)

I agree. Also, the sound at Continental Airlines in 2006 was just plain AWFUL. I probably had nosebleed seats (not 10c) but I couldn't see the band very well and it sounded like they were singing a few rooms away from where I was sitting. The CD recording sounded like it was one of the best live shows ever, though.

uhhh what about the millions of people who DO live here who will go every night? It's not my problem you live somewhere else, Ha. Did you bitch about the Dead when they played here for a week? pff, elitist, whatever.

And I wonder why I dislike east coast people sometimes. Oh yea cause of threads like these. lol

You want more shows? Then go travel around then. If you can't be happy you got 2 shows. End of story.

    I mean in Reality

I live near between Atlantic City and Camden. So I am 20 mins from Camden, 3 hours from dc, and 2 hours from msg and 6 hours from ct, and 8 from boston

So take boston out, i am close to 6 shows.

    That is alot.
Ny may skip dc, but add 2 boston shows to the list of close. and they can get to 7
Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.

    no more shows
