Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
i'm actually quite interested in what the last song will be...it's got to be amazing, it' got to be completely unreal. it's got to be something eddie can pour a lot of heart into...
i think it's going to be Baba O'Riley...it's just such a great song and has a celebratory mood to it while we say good-bye and celebrate the spectrum

yeah but i feel like that's too slow of a song to recap a place like the spectrum. It needs to be something with a more celebratory vibe to it, like i mentioned Baba O'Riley seems to fit best, at least among the songs i can list in my head
I don't think there's going to be that much thought into the last song. It's not like Pearl Jam's connection is to Philly as it is to Seattle or somewhere like that.
That said, it's gonna be a helluva show!
If not, you can bet your balls that that this is the last song you hear before you get to your car.
"It's as comfortable as can be. But when you're on stage playing with Neil, well -- it's one thing to be at the zoo and watch an animal pace around its cage. It's another to be in the cage with him." -Eddie Vedder
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
ride"!

seriously though, i imagine that pj being the way they are, they'll want the last song to be a classic, wether it be a cover version, or what they consider one of their biggest songs.
but on the other hand, i wouldn't be surprised if they just finished with yellow ledbetter,

That said, it's gonna be a helluva show!
(I like the Eye of the Tiger concept. Sharp.)
It's gotta be that Elton John number with Billie Jean King and the girls helping out on backing vocals.

Whatever you are, be a good one --Lincoln
but on the other hand, i wouldn't be surprised if they just finished with yellow ledbetter,
it's only fitting they close with this song. it be cool to honor the dead and to honor the dead playing the spectrum 53 times.
Sammi: Wanna just break up?
Then they should play Samson and Delilah.
