older SIGG bottles contain BPA, but not the PJ and EV ones!

    ah damn, it's about old sigg bottles.... which I have. I better look into this more.


    *edit: all 3 of mine contain it... better do the exchange, wonder if they'll send me EV bottles :P

    Sigg is a brand of aluminum water bottle that is becoming very trendy. Pearl Jam and EV have both sold Sigg bottles with their designs on them. BPA is a harmful (cancerous) chemical that is found within the liner of these bottles. Really, its probably not much of a threat but its just something you should be aware of when purchasing.

    metal water bottle..... BPA jut seems bad....

    from the way I'm reading that link it says that the older bottles (which I have) are the ones to worry about and to exchange them for new ones with the safer liner which the EV and PJ bottles most likely have.

    yup. it said all bottles made after Aug 2008 are good :)
