The Terracotta Army

I visited the Terracotta Army last week. I thought it was pretty amazing - especially when you consider that the Army is just one small piece of the puzzle and that there's still a lot more to be unearthed in this area, including the tomb of the First Emperor of China nearby.
Anyway, here's some photo's I took:

This blows my mind! I can't conceive the scale, the time and effor behind this monument!

I really hope they excavate the Emperor's tomb in my lifetime. They already have a rough idea of the size and scale of what lies under the ground, and there's evidence to suggest that it contains treasures that will eclipse the Terracotta Army nearby.

Also, when you consider that all of this was built in 200 B.C it's pretty amazing.

I wish that too, that would be the greatest archeological discovery of the millenium IMHO.
