What a recording... wish I could lay down a demo as good as that.. in a fucking hotel?! I'd have loved to be in the room next door to his! haha

    Does anyone have the demo version of gone? While I have it on vinyl, my access to a record player is limited.

    I was at the Borgata the night Ed debuted the song... it has always been very special to me.

    That truly is inspiring. I think they should have put that one on the album. The stripped down arrangement suits that song better.
    Well, do you need a lot of what you've got to survive?

    I never liked Gone. The album version is marginally better, but not by much.

    There's a big movement of fans that really detest this song. Personally, I love it.

    I wasn't blown away the first time I heard it at the Borgata but it felt special to be a part of it. I fell in love with it as I listened to it more and more.
