Solar Eclipse over Asia 22.07.2009

I would have posted these photo's earlier but I was banned for 6 weeks for responding to Jlew and Brmlw aka encinoman aka The Face aka Last Exodus, e.t.c.

Anyway, I took these photo's over the West Lake in Hangzhou in China. The eclipse lasted about 6 minutes, and was the longest one we'll get in the 21st Century.

    Excellent pictures. I was in Shanghai at the time. Unfortunately, it was cloudy in Shanghai and it just got dark.

    Yeah, it was cloudy in Hangzhou, but fortunately the clouds parted just as totality occurred. You must have been gutted?

    It was a drag but a great trip none the less. Would have been pissed if I went just for the eclipse like a lot of people did. It was a business trip for me.
