Howdy...my fixer vinyl arrived this morning to auckland new zealand...its in perfect condition and not bent/creased/folded as I've seen was a problem for lots of people on this forum re; packaging etc...Must say, I think I'm a lucky one tho because the outer packaging was very flimsy...nothing like the outer packaging that arrives with Christmas Singles/Deep publications....fingers crossed my luck will remain for the Backspacer Vinyl... :)

I think it has something to do with how the 10c ships some merch to Canada. I've noticed the Xmas singles also end up in europe/australia/new zealand before here.

I've also noticed alot of 10c stuff (especially singles, or a big batch of something new) its shipped from inside Canada. I think for bulk Canadian orders they must have a method of shipping it over the border then using Canada post to send it out?

I've never entirely understood what methods the 10c use for Canadian distribution, but its slow. If you order a one off item like a tshirt, and it gets mailed directly from seattle, it seems to be alot quicker.

And I bet he did not have to fork out any $$$ either, I used to give Canada post or customs money every time I got anything from 10C or ames bros.

not anymore since I now live in Australia.

Mine also arrived essentially mint. Sweet! I don't know how with the rubbish padded envelope, but I'm not complaining.

It had a NZ Post sticker on it too, no other postal markings. Weird? Usually it has Deutsch post or Sweden post or something. Maybe a new bulk mail deal with NZ Post for us downunder. Any aussies with local post markings on their packages from 10C?

got mine today. also stamped auckland mail centre, nz post. perfect condition. not even a crease in the envelope.

i just think perhaps my record player doesn't have the right speed. it sounds too fast. but whatever. i'll wait til the album i guess. less than 2 weeks!

maybe i'm just imagining it.. or maybe it don't have the GIANT HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT positioned right in the centre....

I'd expect some wow and flutter, but speed should be OK. I want to buy those plastic spiders for the middle, but I just have to use the dodgy adpater I have.
