Romancing The Looky-loos

I generally hit up this board in the evening after dinner and read through the first couple of pages of threads to see whats been happening with everyone. I often see comments that can be summarized by ass-kissers vs. tell it like they see it-ers. There is always much debate between these two factions about which is the right type of fan. I read an essay about this some years ago and thought I would recommend it for anyone interested. You can find it online at if so inclined.
