Descending on Austin for Festival & TV appearances

The tour kicks off with an October 2 performance at the Austin City Limits music festival, to be preceded by a September 30 Austin City Limits TV taping to air at a later date TBD, as well as an appearance at the October 1 Austin City Limits festival pre-party.

    And of course they won't be coming to Winnipeg. Everyone thinks that Toronto is the only city in Canada.

    apparently this is what everyone else is wondering, too. if there is one, no one knows where it is, from what i see on the band's message boards.

    i just got mine for nasvhille.

    the website couldn't handle the traffic right at 10am central time, so i kept on trying and pulled a pair about an hour later.

    at last check, there were still some available...

    Remember how they had that screwup with the password right when the presale was supposed to start, when it finally started working there wasn't a ticket limit at first so I managed three tickets. After checking back later in the day to see if it was sold out yet I saw the limit and called ticketmaster. They told me not to worry and that if the department (I guess that checks for exceeded limits) catches it they'd just cancel the third ticket and not the other two.

    Missed the presale but lucked out this morning for the actual sale. Two tix for the 930 Club DC show! Saw Dave drum for the Queens of the Stone Age and he was amazing. How could I forget John Paul Jones!!!!

    I'm pissed about this tour because I'll be on travel for work when they come to DC! Shit!! Should be awesome shows though judging from the handfull of youtubes out there. When the hell will this album finally drop?
