    Yeah, I love his stuff. I saw him open for Bon Iver last year and picked up his album shortly thereafter. Such a great voice and great songs.

    Some of it reminds me of Whiskeytown and early Ryan Adams. I didn't know he opened for Bon Iver...very cool

    I definitely agree with the early Ryan Adams comparison. I'm a big fan of a raspy singing voice. I get a lot more out of the lyrics that way. He and Bon Iver was a great combination. The guys from Bon Iver came out and backed him up on his song, American Heart. Really great.

    I believe he's touring with Elvis Perkins this fall. Definitely catch him if you get a chance. I saw him earlier this summer and he ended the set by leaving the stage and walking out into the middle of the audience, doing the last three or four songs acoustic. Great performer.
