    that would make one hellllll of an opener but i highly doubt this would ever happen.
    i just hope they play the damn song.

    Could you imagine the 911 calls for all the heart attacks from the 10c members? It would flood the operators.

    I was recently thinking about this very thought ... Breath as an opener would totally floor us all. The guys would look out at the 10C section and see thousands of us standing their completely shocked with our jaws hitting the floor... :mrgreen:

    Great song, hope they play it at some point, but it is a terrible opener. Putting a song like Breath as an opener just means you aren't going to get a traditional opener. If they do this, I hope it's not at any of the 4 nights in Philly! Philly wants OCEANS!

    Yeah, Breath is one of my all-time fave PJ songs. But I don't think of it as an opener in any sense of the word.
    Oceans is a solid choice.
    Of the Girl is my fave opener, I'm still waiting for it to open a show I'm at!

    I was hoping for Oceans in Toronto, and got "Of the girl". That was the foruth time I had heard it.

    I'm still holding out hope for Philly!

    This is a great idea! Never thought of Breath as an opener but it now seems like a perfect choice. Seattle night 2, Im calling it.

    Would be an interesting opener, although I would prefer some of the more traditional openers more. I just want to hear this one period. C'mon 10/31!

    I like when they break from the norm and do somethign different to open, I would like to see them do this with Breath

    That is exactly my point. I agree that Breath is an atypical opener. But it would be such a surprise that it would kick ass and it would be an amazing tone setter for a night that the boys plan to let loose and have a good time ~ something like a Hartford '08 or GR '06 type show.

    After the Seattle shows I will have seen 20 in total. I've always had Breath, Footsteps, and Of the Girl on my list but can't seem to cross them out! (I take that back...I got Footsteps in London) Breath is my favorite song and I made the suggestion last month that this would actually be a great closer...Mike could extend the great solo on this tune...so how about Of The Girl as the opener and Breath as the closer?...ahh I can dream, can't I?
