Hey you who are not getting older!

I'm sooooo proud of my 2 children, but they have also made me look not so beautiful anymore... And I don't even have silicons...Just wondering that could someone like EV love this kind of woman??
I thought that everyone gets older - at the same time?

it all depends. I'm not opposed to someone getting a touch up here and there.

I'm betting this thread gets locked though. Kinda going into a private place that we usually dont go.

    Why?

I'm quite happy to talk about what an old fart I'm turning into. Oh, is it the EV bit? I'm more concerned about what a surprise it is every morning looking in the mirror. Who's that fat git looking at me? Why do they look like they are starting to melt? Is it really possible to have that many chins?

yea, cause the EV bit. its hard telling from the post because it could read two different ways. lol they are either asking could EV ever love someone like themself, or is implying his significant other has gone under the knife. lol. either way, usually stuff like this goes away.

as far as getting older, cant stop it so who cares? BUT, if i had something that i just really did not like about myself due to age, and had the money, i dont see a problem having it corrected.
    Peace, Love.

the alternative to getting older is well, not so good.
trying to have things done not to look older often helps you to look fake so why not just keep embracing who you are - imperfect as we are
by the time you get really older you usually really like yourself and don't really care what others think
    and thats attractive

Agree, although what is 'really older', when I was 18 I thought 42 was virtually getting in a box and putting the lid down. Now I'm here I feel bloody young, it's just my mirror image that is a bit surprising. Don't think I'd have surgery - too expensive, but my ponytails are definetely getting tighter - its my homemade face lift!

When I was 20, I would look at " those old ladies" dancing to the band and having far too much fun for thier age!
Now, after staying at home raising the kids, I'm back out there doing the " old lady thing".
My partner does not understand why I want to go out seeing bands and dancing on the weekends, thats easy fixed, he stays haome and babysits!
Sure I wish I looked better, but it's not going to get any better.
I couldn't do plactic or even botox - not when there are those less fortunate.
So I dress my best and then not look in the mirror for the rest of the night. I feel FANTASTIC on the inside.
But it also helps when your partner loves you very much regardless how you look and shows his effection in public to prove it.

I totally agree- love at home makes you feel beautiful. And also our kids love helps to make us feel beautiful. As they age we are proud of who they are and they are proud of us -once past those rotten "i hate you" teen years.
It's feeling accepted I guess for just who we are.

These are the good years then for you-(scary? I never looked at it that way either!) they are still yours
I underestimated the power of peers for sure- my biggest mistake. But a strong family bond will get you thru to the other side
    good luck!

why would you think that when not everyone is born at the same time?? nor are we all the same person.

my oldest is 23. my youngest is 10. i have a 3 year old granddaughter. i dont feel old and when im out there in the world i feel like i own it all. i dont know what is expected of someone my age(im 44) cause societys rules and expectations dont interest me. i do what i want to do. i do it how i want to do it. i listen to the music i like not the music im expected to. i dont give a shit what anyone thinks and fuck those who think im not behaving my age... cause i dont even know what that means.
    hear my name
    take a good look
    this could be the day
    hold my hand
    lie beside me
    i just need to say
