Who here lives near any of the Southern California Fires?

I thought there would have been several threads about this, since it is a major current event. I'm directly south of the Station Fire, which is headed up towards Mt. Wilson and down towards Acton. It's also going west towards Sunland and Tujunga. The smoke has reached as far as Las Vegas, and even further to Denver. Any thoughts/concerns?

    I live in La Canada - Flintridge North of Foothill, South of the La Canada Country Club between Crown and Oakwood. Fire came within 1/2 mile or so from my house.
    Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river

    I was just in that area the other night. I drove up Crown to try to get to the top (but was turned away from the cops). I went back down Crown and drove across a side street to Oakwwood.

    You probably turned right at the bottom of the hill on Crown at a stop sign, passed an elementry school at Gould at Knight, and continued to Oakwood. You weren't far at all from me.
