I just pre-ordered my son (14, also) Slipknots deluxe re-release of their first album. I asked if it was necessary, and he pointed out my Ten superduperdeluxe box set. :geek:

Hey, did you see a PJ show this summer? I was just wondering cuz things didn't seem to go in your favor when tickets went on sale.

Anyway, cool - nice to have a family member going to a PJ show next time!

My 14 yr old daughter wants to see them and maybe the 16 yr old son (whom I am hopeful would stop being such a PJ hater!)

When I was 17 (8 years ago) I literally had a whole Pearl Jam wall (mostly eddie). If only I had a digital camera then... I took pictures with my disposable camera before I took it all down. I was heart-broken.

Hey, I got to see them in London and Manchester how about you? Been an up and down kinda year but even though it's down at the moment, there's some up opportunity I just can't be bothered giving a shite anymore.

She gave out to me cos apparently I'd promised her I'd bring her to a show :oops: (but that was probably back when she hated them and I said it as 'punishment' ) so yep, next tour...

Ooh, that's awesome - I'm so glad you got to see them! You were pretty mad!! I'm glad it worked out in the end. No, not going to see any PJ shows this year. We were going to go to San Diego, but that didn't work out too well. I knew it but kept on trying only to make the situation worse...so finally in the end said enough, this is not working out before everyone else besides me gets mad. I really felt like going on a warpath with some people, groans. The air definitely hasn't been good.... however, we had a blast time in Nashville for the EV solo show, so that was one of the few wonderful memories this summer!

Yeah, it's been rough over here too... hasn't been going well, but hanging in there and trying to make the best of the situations. We are just a step away from getting a foreclosure note, but I'm still working on trying to prevent that from happening. See what happens...

I told her she didn't have to sit with me and her dad.... she could take whoever she wanted and she said, "I can take a friend for free???" Uh...well if you paid for the extra ticket, yeah.... "oh." She loves to spoil her friends with things she makes, draws or gives away.... takes after her dad. He'd give his last dollar to a stranger or friend.

She's thinking of a new username here... It'd be really cool to see her taking off to PJ shows and mom drooling over her reviews.

Well the morning after the London concert, my boss rang me at 9.30am to tell me my entire team is getting laid off in October :shock: :( but yesterday and the day before I had interviews in two other departments within the company. Yesterday I found out I got one of them, and a 2grand payrise so it's bloody amazing how quick things can turn around.

I hope you two can turn it around too... this is the first time I've felt completely stress free in months :oops:
