Sweet - anyone know how the quality on this is? Is the audience audible in the mix?

Recording is excellent, about as good for a non-soundboard recording as you'll get

If this is the same source as the one on TTD, I think you're getting people's hopes up a bit with that comment! The sound is a quite distant (it was recorded from up in the seats), there is pretty much no stereo separation because of the taper location, and the channels drift every now and then. I'd give it a good 7.5 or 8/10, but for example it's nowhere near as good as the SBE recording.
  • Listen to stage banter (Length 2:05) 1:39 mins in Eddie says " we're gonna play a lot longer than that tonight since it's our LAST TIME" I was shocked when I heard this at the gig and cant believe no one seemed to pick up on it. Is this the end. If it is I'm so glad I made the trip across the water from Ireland. I must say the gig did have a certain aura of finality.
    Last words. Last words out.

thats not why man. it's because they got fined 2,500 pounds! apparently ed was arguing with the managers of the o2 all night about playing passed curfew. they eventually fined him for smoking too! he said that because he was fed up with the people who ran the venue. in recent interviews ed and stone describe how the plan to work for the next 20 years. pearl jam is not going anywhere anytime soon everybody, relax.

but on another note im holding off for the official boot to listen!

  • He also said "It's our last time in Europe for quite some time"

At which point the crowd start singing "Why go home"

    Was excellent
