Do you think it is worth it to buy a "mini poster"? The ones that are sliced out of books.
I wanted a full size Maui poster but $$$ issues prevail.

I have contemplated this as well, I think it depends on the stock they are printed on, I guess it would be good for framing if it was good quality paper?

I think a lot of mini posters are just cut out of the ames book and sold on ebay so you might as well just buy the book.

It's a thin paper, glossy. Just like a page out of any other picture book you've ever looked at.

If you do it, don't pay more than a few bucks for it.

I see people constantly paying $30+ for Shepard Fairey's image of Joe Strummer and it makes me want to hurl ... I wonder how many people are disappointed when they receive it.

If you have the Ames bros book go make a 600 dpi scan and print it in the paper you think looks better and the size you want it, don't feed the piracy, but if it's too much work for you go for it!
