I still want you P-Town folks to hypeit up down there to the public and get these tickets sold. Lets at least get all the reserved seating sold and half of the lawn.
That's the thing. The Fixer has been No.1 on the radio since it's been out? :?
I'm seriously thinking of going to Portland, but I want a front section. I'd buy them from Ebay but the vast majority of people are selling them in pairs. Hmm
I finally decided to pull the trigger on this...I'm just gonna get lawn seats and chill...It'll be nice to get to go to a Pearl Jam show and actually sit with ALL my friends.
as for the amount sold so far....I have a feeling a lot more tickets will be bought after the 2 Seattle shows. People always want more
"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."
-my dad after hearing Not for You for the first time on SNL .
I can't believe there are still reserved seats remaining on TIcketmaster for this Clark County show. And, it looks like just over 400 GA lawn tickets have been sold.
Come on folks, buy these tickets. I want a packed house.
How do you have any idea how many lawn tickets have been sold? Just curious.

I really have no idea but maybe the ticket/seat number that comes up when you pull up a lawn seat gives an idea?

With it being on a Saturday its kind of suprising these are not moving faster! I'm tempted myself but with seeing the two Seattle shows and the Vancouver show the night before I think I'm going to take a pass on this one

If you log onto ticketmaster, select the Clark County show and select lawn seats, the seat numbers that come back are in the 400's..
If you've never been to the CC ampitheater, the sound on the lawn is terrible. And people who grew up here are used to how terrible it is to get in and out of the fairgrounds so they just don't go to anything there. It wouldn't matter if it was the fuckin Beattle's. And there really isn't that many PJ fans around here. None of my friends are, to them they are like old news, or a time in their lives they are trying to pretend never happened. It sucks that it won't sell out but it isn't PJ's fault.

I don't know if I agree with your statement. Coldplay (earlier this summer) sold it out as have nameless other acts.

Actually, The Fixer has been number one on 94.7 every night for the past two weeks. So, there are some fans requesting it.

According to the second article, Coldplay was the first act to ever sell the place out. I don't think this is true because I saw Jimmy Buffett there years ago and I'm pretty sure it was sold out. That was my first experiance with the cluster-fuck that is getting out of the venue. The guy in front of me threatened to kick the kid's ass who was flagging the traffic if he let one more car through....it was a joke.

Wow, it is struggling. I didn't realize that the Coldplay sell out was it's first and only one.
The more I read about it the more it sounds like the White River Amphitheater....which is a place I absolutely detest.
Yeah, when you've been going to The Gorge for the last 15 or so years, most outdoor amphitheaters will fall dramatically short.
It took years for them to get the Amp built. People from all around the area protested, the neighbors didn't want it in their backyards. They knew traffic would be an issue, but money talks and it was built.
After the concert keep in mind it takes about an hour to get from the parking lot to the freeway.
A real possibility I may meet you in my dreams ~ I go to sleep
I'd pony up about $50.00 for that pass right about now :( . I went to James Taylor a couple years back and had the premier pass, it made a big difference.

And the sound system is apparently state of the art and brand new (as of July 2007) according to this article: http://www.meyersound.com/applications/ ... 25&id=1193 (great read)
As far as parking goes, yeah, we have the White River Amphitheater here in Western Washington and it sucks there too.

I could not disagree more with that statement
This show will sell out
And, it looks like there are about 450 lawn tickets sold so far. Only about 7,550 more to sell in the lawn for a sell out crowd.
