Eddie (Heart) and Mike (Soul) of PJ
I hate to say this, and I know the rest of you will hate me for saying it. Ed and Mike are soooo the heart and soul of this band. After watching the Vh1 honors again and again and again, it is soooooo evident.

Jeff is the kidney.
Stone is the small intestine.
Matt is the liver.
Boom is the sphincter.
for the least they could possibly do
Jeff is decent, but couldn't even hold John Entwistle jock strap. He and Stone looked just like they have for the past 10 years on stage. Asleeep with no passion at all anymore.
Go Mike and Ed!!!!
You better hide your ass if Sen shows up.
You are a deaf, blind, complete fu#$%$g idiot!!!
haha, sphincter
Huh?
Jeff's been going nuts for several tours now.
Stone was going apeshit on the Rock Honors show. Did you not watch it?
And I don't know what the hell is wrong with this guy. Not much of a music fan, I suppose.

I think Ed, Stone, Jeff, and Matt are fucking super tight. I enjoy them playing their respective instruments. Mike may or may not be technically better than Stone... but Stone is far superior when it comes to style.
Mike is, and always has been, the weakest member of the band.
If you call bobbing your head, apeshit.... I wonder if you saw the same show I did. I've seen Jeff 4 times this year between MSG and Camden and at least 12 times over the past 5 years and there is no passion. Mike keeps getting more passion and Ed keeps having more fun and taking himself less serious.
I don't think Stone and Jeff really want to be out ther anymore.
You are soooo wrong.... Stone is the most overrated PJ member by PJ fans. Mike is one of the top 20 guitarists ever....
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.....
No way. Stone is not the most overrated, and while Mike is a badass is probably not in the top 20 guitarists ever.
Also, sorry if i come off as an ass about this, but jumping around on stage does not show that you are more into it and have passion and 'bobbing' your head means less passion and/or energy.
Why do you even listen to this band? Mike is a great guitar player. As a bit of a guitar player myself, I'm not easily fooled by "stage antics" and bluster but 'Cready has the chops to back it up.

what makes him so good?

And I don't think you know what the hell you're talking about.
No. 1 -- Just because you don't jump around left and right doesn't mean you're not into it. Stone has NEVER jumped around. He grooves. And he was grooving his motherfucking ass off at Rock Honors.
No. 2 -- Maybe Jeff was sick when you saw him or something. He did a shitload of jumping around at MSG. In the three shows I saw in '06, he was in the air more often than he was on the ground.

Because the other 4, and their song writing, make up for it.
Do you just not like guitar music or something? Not that I'm making the direct comparison, but do you think SRV sucks, too?
for the least they could possibly do
I don't really care for any music that has guitar solos.
Oh that is just completely incorrect! Mike gets all the love here... though I understand why.
But Stone is the brains of the outfit here.
He is also the coolest.
I am a man, I am advanced.....I am the first man to borrow Stone's leather pants!
Jesus Christ. You're one sick motherfucker.

I guess. Guitar solos bore me.
Surely I can't be the only one who feels that way since none of the other bands I listen to with any frequency have solos in their music.
Maybe most of the bands you listen to are untalented.
for the least they could possibly do
I doubt that. There isn't much room for bluesy guitar solos in hardcore or punk music.

I skip a good chunk of those songs.
They play punk and hardcore because they are untalented. If they could play the blues, they would.
Look, I'm just busting your chops a little bit. I still can't fathom anyone thinking guitar solos are boring, but a punk band playing the same three chords over and over are killer.
