The more I think about this...the more upset I become.
You see a teacher like that, whose passion and dedicaion has affected thousands of kids and instead of doing what he was meant to do, he is sitting at home.

this upsets me too, but how many of you get out and push for levies to pass in your local areas?
paying more taxes sucks, but having deteriorating public school systems is even worse. and it really sucks that good teachers are being let go, when we know that so many of their peers are completely incompetent (but keep their jobs due to tenure or some union related BS).

So true. In my town its all politics. Teachers get jobs based not on their qualifications, but who they know.

Pretty sad that someone who enjoys his job so much and helping kids can't even do it. I bet those kids looked forward to his class everyday.
