There's a first pressing of 'No Code' at my local mom n' pop record store that's first pressing, unopened, that's going for $75.

I bought Vitalogy when it first came out on vinyl, two weeks before the CD was released. It incidentally debuted at #55 on the Billboard charts on vinyl sales alone! EV was right in saying there's a type of romance listening to your favorite records on vinyl...you appreciate it more, and for that, Vitalogy is my favorite PJ album.

  • A few years ago they were all easy to get besides no code yield and binaural. The rest were on 10c goods page. I had to ebay the other 3.

The first 3 PJ albums should be cheap on ebay.

oh and no code/yield/binaural sounds the best on vinyl.

I am so mad I never got Riot Act and Binaural on vinyl... I just figured 'I'll get them later.'

Whoops! But on the plus side, I got Lost Dogs and Rearviewmirror dirt cheap from Circuitcity.com of all places. That was a while ago, but still a nice find for me since I biffed it on the other two (and LOTL, actually).

I'm checking out gemm.com right now. Any idea how it works in terms of determining the quality of the records? Also, how reliable is it? With ebay you know what you're getting into with the buyer/seller ratings systems and the record quality rating system. How does it all work on gemm.com?

Mainly to get some info on gemm.com. Who has used this site before to buy LP's? How reliable is it, and how accurate have the quality ratings been? I have always had good luck with ebay in terms of getting LP's that arrived as advertised. In your experience, is this the case with gemm.com as well?

I bought two holiday singles and they were both shipped a couple of days ago so I can't say anything about it yet. It looks reliable. Guess I'll know in a couple of days whether I'm right.

LOTL, binaural, RVM, LD, all those are around $75-1XX +/- and Benny +/- $600 but I bought one for $350 from a fellow board member open but mint condition. So you can find good prices but that require time and dedication.
