Anyone has listened to her new album Two suns?
Pretty cool music. I first checked her out at the lollapalooza webcast. Liked her live stuff so decided to check her music. Check her videos: 8-)

    oddly enough, I'll be seeing them today around 5 pm at Outside Lands Festival.

    My girl loves them ... this (your post) was the first time I ever listened to them ... I dig it.

    the new cd is fantastic...as is the first one!! and...i'm kicking myself for getting the days confused and missing her on wednesday :(

    Saw her yesterday ... as my girl astutely put it, "I think she may owe Bjork some royalty checks."

    It's meant as a compliment, because she's really talented ... but yeah, you can certianly see the similarities in several, if not most of her songs.

    I have a few pics I may try and post later, nothing great, I was about 15 rows back.

    There's 2 great irish bands worth checking out too: One called Jogging, and another called 3epkano.
    Both are playing the Body & Soul area.

    I cant go due to exams, I missed Bat For Lashes at EP07, and at Radiohead last year! i'll make it my business next time she's in town!

    I was there in 07 but I didn't know she played :( Never even heard of her til recently. Dang.

    I was there in 07 but I didn't know she played :( Never even heard of her til recently. Dang.

    It was a ridiculous time like noon in a tiny tent! Flo & The Machine had the same deal last year! EP always have some great stuff on very early (12-3pm) in the smaller stages, and theyre all given short sets. Means you get to see lots of bands by wandering between the stages. if youre up and about in the morning its a great way to see some new stuff, and there are no crowds either. Notable mention this year for Villagers, Cap Pas Cap, and the Sugarhill Gang!
