Pearl Jam should get some kind of award for this.
This day in age, are there really any albums that are 3 weeks away from hitting the streets, that haven't leaked? I wonder if it has something to do with the Target deal, perhaps there are less middle men then the standard major label release. Either way, I commend them, and leak or no leak, I will be listening to it as soon as the 10 Club mails it to me, and I can't wait.
words seem so out of place.

pj getting award for this?
pj the band has nothing to do with it if it gets leaked or not.
If anything the band would do anything to not to let it leak, any band would.
But yes I think it’s nice it hasn’t leaked and can appreciate the phenomenon.
I think the title of this thread is not meant to be taken literally.
for the least they could possibly do
Just makin' sure.
for the least they could possibly do
I would think PJ could be out there any time, but maybe the exclusive deal does have something to do with it.

As I said before, this is one of the most anticipated albums of the year by a major band.
How in the hell it hasnt leaked yet is beyond me
I disagree. The media has had the album for awhile. Spin reviewed it, so its obviously in the hands of critics. Several other media organizations had it as well.
And I am disappointed the album haven't leaked yet. Very, very disappointed...

I still prefer getting the cd or vinyl and hearing it for the first time as a physical product. I love it that some of the songs are being debuted live at a few gigs. It means that we hear the songs when the band wants us to and helps to build the anticipation for the actual release. Even if it does leak (and I hpe it doesn't) I won't be geting until the cd arrives

Possibly those who reviewed it didn't get physical copies of the new CD, maybe they were invited to a "listening" controlled by PJ management staff?
I for one love the anticipation of an album release. I remember waiting outside the record store at midnight for the release of No Code and nearly bursting with excitement while driving home with it sitting beside me, still unlistened to! Such an unparalleled feeling.
