So I must have failed to read the entire press release, or skipped over this part, but I went into target to get the Fixer/Supersonic CD today. Had great plans b/c the wife (not a PJ fan) are taking a 2.5 hr road trip tonight, and I was going to play the disc on repeat for the entire trip to either brainwash her or make her hate me even more. Probably the latter.

Anywho, my plans were foiled b/c they only had 45's. Is this true for all stores? Is it available (in person) in CD format?

I don't think cd singles are made anymore. I can't remember ever seeing any in record stores anytime in the last few years.

CD singles are a thing of the past since most people download singles these days from iTunes or wherever. Especially at a retailer like Target they aren't going to take up space with CD singles in their already limited music section. It was more common when Tower Records and actual record stores were the norm. The 45 is more of a "specialty item."

I miss singles. More, I miss singles that had non-album b-sides.
