They have a two-week hiatus before the Philly shows at the end of October. Any chance they'll stop over in New York for some TV gigs?

I'd be surprised if they didn't. New album to promote and they'll be close by. Another multiple night thing would be cool.

Maybe they'll appear on the show around the time the CD comes out?

I was thinking Bridge School will happen the weekend before Philly
  • I think we'll see some performances around the release date as well, seems like the week before the 20th of September would make sense and work with their schedule.

It'd be kind of weird though for them to film SNL/Letterman in NYC and then not play a real gig there (or somewhere in the vicinity i.e. Uniondale or Randall's Island or E Rutherford).

They should do a week on Letterman, and not just do the usual musical guest but, but also totally fill in for the CBS Orchestra...can you picture it? Playing into and out of all the commercial breaks with little instrumental numbers?!? That would be fuckin gold!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Yea, I remember, I was there. I was just using it as an example of another place they could play in the NYC area that isn't MSG.

  • Hell, Conan films at Universal Studios...same location as the Gibson Ampitheater in LA. We can always dream! :)

I wish they'd play the Beacon like the Allmans, the sound is so fine in there!
And ALWAYS love seeing them on Dave, he's such a fan too!!

I would seriously consider paying to see guests walk out to Heyfoxymophandlemamathatsme or Writers Block.
