Is Ed singing "2010 watch it go to fire"?

I looks like Pearl Jam are not going to come to my hometown of Pittsburgh so I have to miss this tour. First one since 96. Ed had been not really singing "twenty ten watch it go to fire" or he would kind of roll his eyes at that line. What's he doing now? I see they did it in Chicago. Anybody notice?
p.s. Pearl Jam please play Mellon Arena, 2010 that's going to fire!

With the ending of the Mayan Calender comes the end of the world..[so they say]
Im not sure why he didnt use 2012 in the lyrics..maybe 2010 just flows better..
Not sure what he's going to do once 2010 is over.

SMELL YER MA!
for the least they could possibly do
Champaign 03 was "2010 watch it go to fire - unlesswedosomethingaboutit- it's evolution baby!!!"
I was paying attention for this moment in Chicago and don't remember anything significant so I don't think there were any non-standard antics.
Eddie: I don't know whose idea it was but it was turned down.
As for Chicago, he just sang the normal lyric, nothing extra.
Agreed.... Isn't there a space ship comin back for everybody, then?
"ohhh i hope they bring Elvis back"!- Independence Day-1996
Anything of significance ever happen at that time (prior to 1998) for it to be a reference? Earthquake? Plane crash? Assassination? Bomb detonation? etc...
Maybe that's why he looks at his watch...
"Are you aware, that as of yesterday, the doomsday clock got moved another few minutes, we're at five minutes to people. Five minutes to on the doomsday clock . . . . . you don't know what that means do you? It means we're all gonna die FVCKERS!!!"

That is a very interesting idea. I never thought about it that way.
If you watch Ed in the showbox dvd he seems to be upset with that lyric.
So stay with me, if Ed's ON STAGE and SINGING A LYRIC and makes some BODY LINGO to go with said lyric, wouldn't that be uh, PERFORMING? I really cant' think why he'd be mad/upset/confused at a lyric, or any other wise bent by what he's singing ... cause he's shown ample example that'll he'll change whatever he wants to.
So I'd vote for -- he's acting out the lyric? Does he bring his emotions to the stage? Sure. Are we looking for confirmation that he throws some emotions into his performances or something?
I've been confused with why he makes a unicorn horn with his pointy finger from his forehead and then draws his hand in the shape of rainbow during "Got Some!"
It's because eV loves unicorns and rainbows. Just wait until he writes his unpublished rock opera about centaurs and pegasus. It's gonna be off the m-f'n chain, yo!
