This is the first time int he 10 threads that have been posted on this subject here in the past week that has PJ listed as being one of the bands being shown. I don't think there's even a 1% chance of PJ being on after the whole Lolla AT&T blueroom thing a couple of years ago

That's right, I was at Lolla  so I didn't see it. I still don't think that should make them not participate in the streaming of the show!

Might also have something to do with T-Mobile sponsoring the webcast and PJ partnering with Verizon, as lame as that might seem.

the lead singer of the band on now (silversun pickups) looks like Daniel Faraday from Lost... him and Desmond (EV) need to hook up later for a Geronimo Jackson song.

  • Why the F*@% do Yankee websites prevent people in other countries from seeing shit? This isn't some contest where corporations have to make sure potential winners must be legal citizens! It also seemed to take forever to find the dang Backspacer promo.
Why did I make time available on a Friday night to catch PJ live on YouTube when those weak-ass F*@%'s wont show to Canadians (and presumably other countries)? I know Americans see things very differently (not as much with folks on this group, but in general), but come on!

    WE'RE ALL DESERVING SOMETHING MORE! F*@% !

Would somebody get their shit together and fix this! This is powerful weak!

This really makes you wonder what happened yesterday. Were Pearl Jam broadcast in some alternate universe?:

    outsidelands.png

Right before this message showed up, the screen went black and you could hear PJ playing "Go" faintly in the distance. Got my hopes up there for a minute.
It would be nice to have an explanation as to why they backed out of their apparent commitment to appear on the webcast. I'm sure it had NOTHING to do with censorship, because as I said in a previous thread last night, the YouTube webcast was most definitely not censored. Even AT&T stopped censoring after the 2007 Lollapalooza debacle.
