theres a new record coming out and a full tour to follow next year.

it's all good.

btw, my happy place is the beach on the north shore of oahu. havent been to any of the other islands...YET.

    I tried this type of thread about a week ago. NOT ONE RESPONSE. I find it interesting how no one responds to a positive thread (or if they do, they don't take it seriously), but when there's a negative one, you get 26 pages. Sad.

    I think it's a little sadder that people genuinely get upset that so-called "Happy" threads don't get

    Wow that is a happy place. I am wondering if it is the same beach I am thinking of where the road ends. Very happy place indeed. Can't remember the name of it though.

    Was this supposed to be a happy thread? Seemed to me that the OP was telling everyone to just calm down. Sorry for being defensive but I felt like I was being put on time out. And my happy place DOES suck (it's a lollipop factory).

    What's not to be happy about? :D In 24 days we should all have in our possession the new album from Pearl Jam, Backspacer! In 25 days, I'll be at the first night at the Key Arena in Seattle watching Pearl Jam. In 26 days, I'll be at the second night at the Key Arena in Seattle watching Pearl Jam. In less than a month, my Pearl Jam tank should be pretty much full up. New friends, good times, great tunes, and as always, in a beautiful part of the country.

    Let's not forget, there are a lot of people out there who are jobless or suffer from health problems who have a lot more to be worried about than bad seats at a Pearl Jam concert. It's all about perspective. I've got to say that from my point of view, September is looking pretty god damn good! :mrgreen:

    I can always go to my happy place - it exists anywhere I can turn on my iPod and Pearl Jam is playing in my head. It causes me to be completely removed from wherever I am or whatever my worry - and I just smile... Now, if I could just get PJ to play in my living room, I wouldn't have to be attached to earphones that fall out of my ear... :D
