Thanks for the link! Can you imagine being in the room with the three of those guys............
I've heard that the drummer for White Stripes is Jack White's ex wife, not sure though. Jack says it's his "sister" but apparently not true.
it says on wikipedia when i looked it up that they were married, he just fucked with reporters saying she was his sister. he says, once you learn about the relationships and personal lives of the musician people focus on that and not the music, which i agree with.
but anyway, i saw this movie when i was in sydney and i'm i really want to see it again! i just wish the only 2 theatres in the state that's showing it wasn't an hour+ away. i'm waiting to see if maybe it'll open somewhere near me but if not no biggie i'll go see it down in the city. i really loved it, it gave me a great respect for jack white and i now have a new appreciation for the blues. seeing everyone's past, the practice spaces of jimmy page and the edge and what not (and especially seeing old footage of bono with his nasty little mullet :P) was really cool
seeing all three guitarists talking about the guitar and music made me immediately go home and start playing my guitar.
it's very inspirational and has some great footage.
jack white is hilarious in it too lol.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.
saw it last week. it's sooo great. i may go see it again,.. don't think i can wait for the dvd. you really should see it in a theater if you get a chance. the director sent a personal note with the film to theaters to "Play this loud." and they do. at least they did in seattle.
