7 years old now, going slow, programs shutting down, anti virus not working properly.
And the clock is always hours behind now when I turn my computer on, anyone know what may be the cause???

Meh, its not on deaths bed. It hasn't been maintained and been looked after. If you format it then it should be okay again depending on what your used to.

And i tend to find people are deluded when their 'pc breaks down' and they think they need a new machine. The physical componenets work, its just whats on your hard drive i.e your operating system is just fucking up.
  • Why is the clock hours behind each time I turn my PC on?
It used to always be on time.

That sounds like the battery on the motherboard is fading. Back up all your shit and reformat the hard drive. Brisk is right on. People think their machine is dying and it just needs upkeep.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.
