Melbourne Pre/Post Show Nov 20 2009

Should we try and organise some sort of gathering either pre show, post show or both?

I'm not sure about pre as the line up will be ridiculous

Wonder if a BBQ or something can be organised?

    Sounds good, never been to a PJ meet and great before...will be going to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows!!!

    Sounds Good....Any ideas on when and where?

    I have never been to a gathering where I can share my OBSESSION with others who understand it!!! So this sounds AWESOME!!

    it will depends on time a bit i suppose and how they decide to let people in if we do a pre gathering...Liam's on at 5pm isn't he?

    not sure if that leaves a lot of time pre...

    Excellent notion sir! Definatley up for an after thing, and pre, if its viable. I cant wait to meet others who share my passion for the band !!! I live an hour and half of town so im too far away to have a shindig at my house, but if i was living in melbs you would all be welcome!!! Cant wait to hear what we're going to do.

    I know it may be just a little hard with people working and all, but if we do a pre-show thingy , perhaps we could make it earlier in the day (i know it''s a little easier said than done!) But Liam's on at 5pm and most of us have to get our tickets from the venue and make sure we can get a good position as part of the early entry..

    Just a suggestion though..CAN'T wait to meet u all!! :)

    Pre show meet ups are gonna be near impossible, gates open at 4.30. so i'm assume the tenclub ticket window will open probably an hour before that. so peeps will more then likely want to get their tickets and get a spot in line early so they can get up front.

    the pre show meet ups will be the 10 club line up.

    Yeah I guessed as much..and as i said before i wanna get to the venue SUPER early so that i can get a good position...In that case I can't wait to meet u all in the 10c line up at Etihad!!! :lol:

    yeah that's what i thought might be the case...i hope there are only 7 ten club's so i can get a decent spot in the fixer area...

    any idea's for post then?

    i'm sure ed will be not going to sleep the one night they're hear (he didn't sleep for the 5 last time by all reports) so maybe we can catch him somewhere

    I thought Liam started at 5.30/5.45, gates open at 5.oopm well, for general public anyways.
    Il bring a stereo along for us all!!!
    afterparty no go for i, well, maybe for a little bit. Going to see Sasha play afterwards, hard being a rocker and a raver at the same time haha!!!

    We were meant to have a pre-party back in '03 and as far as I know, it never happened. Well, I didn't go anyway because I was too busy hanging around the venue, listening to the soundcheck etc. Also got to speak to Eddie from a balcony at the venue so I'm glad I didn't go to the pre party, if it did end up happening, I never heard anything about it. I'm certainly good for an after party like the one we had in '06, was great meeting everyone at the Queensberry! ;) Looking forward to an after party cos I never feel like going straight home after a concert, it takes me a while to come down from the high!
