Welcome to Yahoo! Sports Survival Football.

You have created the Private Group called One and Done and the Pick Set called Sennin in that group. To allow other people to join this group send them the Group ID# (11336) and the Password (fixer). Remember, it is the Group ID#, not the group name, that other people must use to join your group.
You are now ready to participate in Survival Football. Your goal is to predict the winner of one professional football game each week. Win, and you keep picking. Lose, and you're eliminated.

    This pick 'em thing is new to me.

    I know we have to pick a winner of one game, but what game? Is that given to us or do WE pick a game to select from?

    Any game you want.

    But one thing I don't know is if you can pick the same team twice throughout the season. I didn't see anything about it in the settings but I have played in leagues like that before.

    Generally you can't pick the same team more than once in these survival pools, so picking against the Lionesses would not be feasible every week.

    and chances are....they will win one sometime! Last year was the first time in histroy that a team went o-for.

    and you can only pick a team once during the season. Once you pick a team, they will be removed from the list the next week you make picks.

    Not true, it was the first time a team went 0-16. Back when the schedule was only 14 games Tampa Bay went 0-14 in its inaugural season (started franchise history 0-26).

    ok...2 out of the 1000+ team seasons. 98.98% of the time a team has at least 1 win per season.

    i'm in and i picked agaist the lions

    you can pick agaist the lions 13 times a season.

    i view it this way, a pick agaist the lions is like a pick agaist michigan which is a pick agaist the wolverines.
