I am already getting the 10C version, but I see that on the Itunes preorder you will be able to get two free concerts as well from pearljam.com!

    I am not seeing the 2 videos from iTunes thing. Maybe they are referring to the free fixer video and the "making of backspacer" video that are on iTunes for a limited time right now. From my iTunes e-mail today:

    If you click on the album and then read the album notes, it mentions the two free concerts there, looks like only in the USA though.

    yup. I doubted it too. Couldnt be clearer. It says when the album is released you will get 2 free concerts from pearljam.com.


    Might have to order it from there too....

    I really just wanted to pick up the Vinyl at first because I'll also be dropping the cash for the Rock Band DLC version of the album. However, with the extra incentive I am a little tempted to get it from itunes.

    I may wind up spending more money on this Pearl Jam album than I would on a show--but I'm barely frustrated by that.

    However, since the pre-order apparently leads to a download directly from PearlJam.com I hope they'll let the people who buy from PearlJam.com pick up the concerts as well.

    If not I'm going to have to convince my fiancee that we really need three different versions of Backspacer.

    its not itunes exclusive. all the versions should have the downloads.

    My understanding is there will be a vault of special shows. Six to begin with? Each Backspacer sold will have access to two of the six? So in order to get them all you have to purchase all versions? I think I gathered this from the Curtis interview.

    like an idiot I preordered it off of itunes as well.

    I got a nice digital version of the fixer, and the short movie which I loved

    Just Breathe is like Tuolumne with lyrics.

    Im officially very excited for this album.

    The vault could be concerts that they just played. I mean, they haven't announced anything about bootlegs for the Europe/Toronto/Chicago, etc shows and they're not saying what's to choose from in the vault...

    I'm in agreement and also think that if you buy Backspacer from Target, the 10 Club, Vinyl from the 10 Club, and then pre-order from iTunes you would end up with 8 downloads. Because didn't I hear that 11 shows are going to be in the vault to choose from? Will you be able to purchase the rest?

    looks like the promo is gone... nothing in the pre-order screen mentions two concerts... am I in the right place?
