Here is an interesting read regarding SIGG and their bottles actuallycontaining BPA, after years and years of denying it:

Thankfully, the ones that I have purchased (The EV Solo bottle and PJ built tough) ones were made with the new liners.

If this news comes out 6 months earlier, does EV and PJ go ahead with SIGG to design their merch?

Is it just a bottle with a Pearl Jam sticker on it for $50?
A child's rhyme stuck in my head...
It said "Life is nothing but a dream."
I've spent so many years in question
To find I'd known this all along.

SIGG bottles are usually painted/screened - designs are pretty durable. Some other bands/venues sell the non-SIGG brand ones, and most of those just have a sticker.

    Is this even newsworthy?
The bottles were thoroughly and regularly tested in both the USA and Switzerland and all tests revealed absolutely no migration or leaching of BPA or any other substance from the protective inner liner. These tests have been public information on the SIGG website for several years and remain there today.

I think the issue is that the older ones contain BPA, but they still don't leech it into your drink like plastic water bottles do. But I read this morning that the company will replace your old bottle with a newer non-BPA version if you pay to ship it to them:
