For both nights I was in the exact same sections as I was in 2006, but farther back. Sunday I was 122, Row 19 (as compared to 122, Row 6), Monday was 113, Row 13 (compared to 113, Row 2). My number is 181xxx. I'd never complain about my seats, as I'm 5'3 and my floor seats would have to be amazing in order for me to see.

My number is 427xxxx...so I din't expect great seats..ended up in sec305..It was just great to be in the building..I wish I would not have let my membership lapse. It would have been great to be there monday to see where my seats would have been

For what it's worth, our seats were worse last night (sec 114, practically behind the stage) than on Sunday (sec 121). And on our tickets where it usually says N-Fan, last night's ticket says N-Type.

my tix had N-Type last night instead of N-Fan, too
sec 113, right next to your section
amazing view i thought and i'm usually on the floor
    no complaints

    mine said N type too.

Well, I'm glad to hear it wasn't only us, but I'm confused at to what it means. I've looked at tix from other shows we've gone to over the years and they all say "fan" on them. And Sunday's tix said "fan".

Most of the people around me were there for Sunday's show and mentioned these were better seats than they had on Sunday.

See this is the shit that is weird...my member number is 161XXX...and I was in 233...how can that be?

Loved the show, seats were decent...but seems weird that I ended up with worse seats for night 2 and even weirder that I got worse seats than you...oh well, show still rocked. But it would be nice to understand their seating arangements. We buy tix on faith...

Agreed. Our number is mid-150's and we were (as I said) practically behind the stage on Monday. How is someone with a 167xxx number in better seats than us if seating is seniority based? On Sunday we were in 121 and those seats were fabulous. But - 114, eh, not really. Just stating a fact.

  • I was a bit worried when I saw all the posts about the 8/23 show, but was quite happy to find section 1 row 18 in my envelope when i picked them up. 10C number is 138XXX, had 8th row seats on the 2nd night of Chicago 2006. Damn good show. New songs are better appreciated after seeing live.

What sucks more, is I sent an email to the 10C with some specifics and all they answered was ...seats are allocated by senority.

I'm sure they are busy. And I appreciate that they responded...but I'm not sure how they can say that based upon what people here are saying about their seats...unless people here are lying.

Things can happen behind the ticket window too, so while seats may be allocated properly, something shady cab still occur. It's be nice to know that you are getting the seats you are suppose to be getting. I'll pay the extra $ for a sealed envelop with name and membership number...
