“Come to where the flavor is. Come to Debbie country," purrs singleton Debbie Hunt as she flies around the Space Needle in her “Expect the Best” dating video. Actress Sheila Kelley plays the desperate TV ad executive who turns to a dating service to help her find her soul mate.
Known as Gwen Taylor on TV’s “L.A. Law” from 1990 to 1993 and for a role in 1991’s “Soapdish,” Kelly also had mostly small roles in 1996’s “One Fine Day” and 2000’s “Nurse Betty” following “Singles.” The former NYU dance major is credited with helping to make pole dancing a popular form of exercise. After starring in a film on the lives of strippers, “Dancing at the Blue Iguana,” she developed the very successful exercise plan, “The S Factor,” which combines yoga, dance and pole dancing. Kelly married former “West Wing” star Richard Schiff in 1996 and the couple have two children together.
