Wow - what a week
Just a shout out and congrats to everyone who got tickets...after 2 hrs Sunday and $1000s worth of wrongful credit card charges, I was blessed to score tickets to Santa Barbara and LA1 - I refreshed 5,654,219 times...as mad as I was at the 10C servers, yesterday and today I tried to get tickets to LA2 on TM (I know it is greedy and I feel awful taking tickets away from anyone, but I am treking up from Toronto, CAN and need to somehow justify the expense of getting there, accomodations, etc)....so yesterday I expected to strike out in the KROQ presale but today was retarded. I was logged in at 10:00:01 the second the "Find Tickets" icon showed up and tickets were already gone - how many pairs were actually available?! I am not upset, I am however curious how many people on these boards got tickets. Nice to see good ol' Stub Hub now has 75 sets at an average price of $200 a ticket. I don't understand why the tickets aren't "Will Call ONLY", would that not discourage scalping at least a little? Anyhow, I sucked it up and paid $171 p/ticket, plus a 10% commission and $25.00 shipping (ouch, maybe I should give 10C a break on complaining about shipping costs) to sit somewhere in the MEZZ level at the Wiltern Sunday nite...I prob can't afford it, the seats will prob suck, but I will have one of the biggest smiles on my face all nite BECAUSE I am going to see EDDIE VEDDER 3 times in 4 nights with 2000 of the greatest people in the world. Here's hoping for a great mini-tour! Man will I feel retarded when he announces a Massey Hall show in Toronto - ha (but I'll be there too).
