When you're back from a 3 week cruise with first class accomodations, it must really suck when you have to wash the dishes.
LOL! I nearly spit up my coffee when I read that. I just returned from a trip in India, where I'm part of a group building a hospital near a slum. An engineering student at a house where I had dinner was a huge Pearl Jam fan and lamented that he would probably never get to see them live. "But I have the music," he said, proudly displaying his small collection of CD's.
I didn't fly to that first Chicago show, knowing things would be rough with my 393xxx tix. But for my friend in Mumbai would have seen a rafter seat as a dream come true.
Instead, I was at the Dead Weather show at the tiny Roseland in Portland. They melted the place.

Sorry but to me the original post sounds like the people at "Gentleman's Lunch Clubs" grumbling when the club changes their policy to let women and people of color into their club.
I am 25XXXX and have a pretty wide range of rear floor and up the sides experiences. While the 1XXXXX or 0XXXXX people have enjoyed the front for years. What about kids, new blood, in the fanbase? If a 16 year old falls in love with PJ, it is not their fault they are younger than the band itself is it? So they get a 10c number and are doomed for life? I respect loyalty too. I think the lottery is great in that new fans can share the front of the bus experience.
Sorry, your 3 lb lobster tail is now 2.5 lbs to accommodate for some scraps to be given to some kids with flies in their eyesockets. Generosity is a good thing.
"I Dare Say, Old Chap, these 10 Club members with their steerage-class six-digit numbers are giving the floor seats a bad name. Ever since they introduced that blasted lottery, our little club has gone the way of the commoner. Good lord! I bet they only know the lyrics to half the songs on "Lost Dogs.""

no i wasnt really mad about my 12th row. i was making a point that i heard alot of people were mad cause they were getting nosebleed seats from the fan club. also i met a guy who got 3rd row tickets twice both nights so i think they really screwed up. the lottery should be for the first 3 rows instead of 9 and 10. this is all i meant it wasnt right but, i dont care cause i had the best time! amazing!
