No I'm just kidding, my girlfriend and I had 2nd row last night. Such a good vibe down there, besides the few snobs that wanted more Lost Dogs.

The number of songs is irrelevant, but anyway its a similar bunch.

I just can't believe they played Of The Girl in the states and not in Europe, makes me sad.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Why is it such a problem for people to want to hear songs that aren't played EVERY show such as Even Flow, Given to Fly, Small Town, Corduroy, Alive, Black, Daughter, etc, etc... and why aren't the fans who just want to hear those songs snobs for not wanting the band to play other things they've recorded over the years?

I personally would kill to hear more Lost Dogs/B-Sides stuff at these shows. I thought last night's set was really good for my personal tastes, but I could see some others thinking it was more bland. I personally loved hearing Long Road, Sad, Smile, In Hiding, Rats, 3 new songs, 2 who covers, etc... and I must admit I was thrilled they didn't play Black, Jeremy, Crazy Mary, Daughter.

have no fear you"ll get most of those tonight plus Even Flow and GTF again and of course the endless headache DTE-

I want more diverse setlists also, but I must say last night would be a hard one to complain about.

Peal Jam plays to the masses not the select few that know every word to every song they have ever written. Most of the arena has no clue about any Lost Dogs/B Sides and would be really disappointed if they didnt play their most popular songs.

That is a funny thing to say after last nights set list. What a perfect show for any fan.
  • say what you will, but Black is my favorite song ever (not just Pearl Jam, but anyone). I will be sorely disappointed if they don't play it tonight. I am also really hoping to hear Elderly Woman...

    I find this inconceivable ;)

That's true to a point. Pearl Jam is one of the few bands that really 'lives' off an extremely loyal fanbase and not on 'radio hits' like many popular bands do.

My point is just that for each person that says 'I can't believe they didn't play Jeremy' there's a person wishing they had played In My Tree or something else that's not crazy obscure but not played every night.

I was really happy with the setlist last night and tonight I fully expect to hear Black, Daughter, Crazy Mary, Elderly Woman, Alive, Why Go, Even Flow.... I just hope the songs that are not those are at least mixed really good so we get a few surprises.

If anyone complains that PJ's set list aren't diverse enough, then they have never followed any other band on tour, ever.
I am right by your side...
