My God!! Bitch Bitch Bitch. I'm from Seattle. I've been in the 10C since '96. Seen PJ 20 times. When the presales started for Seattle I missed out on show 1. Did I bitch on how the process sucks and how since I've been a supporting member for so long I should get special treatment? NO! Luckily, a 10C member from Toronto offered me his girlfriend's set of tickets for the first show. She joined the 10C not that long ago and has a number in the 400s. This mean I'll have not so great seats for the show in my home town. I DON'T CARE!! I'll be in the building watching the best band to ever make music play live. I don't care if I'm in the back row on the floor and the guy in front of me is an 8 foot tall freak of nature. People should be thankful for what the 10C does for us. I understand that not everyone can be pleased but I'm tired of reading posts from people that haven't been in the 10C for that long bitch and complain about how they got shitty seats for a show and now they're going to not go, or discontinue their membership or just buy from a scalper because they'll get better seats. This is getting ridiculas. HELLO!! It's Chicago......it's ED's hometown.....PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER ARE GOING TO GO. Get used to it. I usually get anywhere between row 10 and 17 on the floor for Seattle shows and I have a 141xxx number. I'm just happy to be there. To all you douche nozzles that just joined the club within the past couple years and travel to a high demand city (Seattle, Chicago, NYC etc....) quit fucking whining that you got shitty seats. Be happy you're there and that the 10C gives us the opportunity to do this.

Why is it that whenever someone is gonna flip out and complain about the stuff that's being said on the message board, they always state their credentials first?

hey i just realised me and the original poster have the same join date - which i'm guessing means my theory that this system of tracking join times started at 3pm on 1 july 1998.
  • You did'nt know? You're opinion doesn't count unless you've seen the band at least 20 times, have spent at least $5000, have been the "fluffer" in Boom's dressing room, and bitch more than a canine fertility clinic.

brother has a point though yo.
  • so this guy is coming on here, saying exactly what 99% of us are thinking, and you guys slag him for doing so? Gimme a break. He is absolutely 100% correct. He stated his "credentials" to merely point out that he "should" get better seats than those that have been around only a couple years, but if he doesn't, does he bitch? No, he doesn't. That was the point of stating his "credentials".

I haven't been around here that long, and already I'm getting tired of all the BS whiners on this board. It's so juvenile. These people think they are owed something from the band because they are in the club, or have been a fan for X number of years.

I enjoy the band's music, and it means something special to me (as it does most of us), and I'm happy I've been able to see them 3 times. I hope I get a 4th. But if I get rafter seats from the 10C (which I will, since I just joined up again after bailing on my seniority a few years back), I'll be fine with it. I'll be at the show (if we even get one, but if we don't, I won't bitch about that either!), and wherever I'm standing, I'll be rocking the fuck out.

there are just as many posts of people bitching about people bitching as there actually are posts of people bitching about tickets, or their seats or something else.

they are both just as fucking useless as each other.

Yes to me what is FAR more annoying are the posts like this OP where people bitch about bitching.

Its plain and simple: if people feel the need to bitch/whine/complain/or otherwise vent, JUST LET THEM. Its not anyone's place to tell them not to. And unless they are specifically attacking another user or otherwise breaking the rules of this forum, then they are within their rights to do so.

What I cannot figure out is why some people, like the OP for this thread, have to get their panties in a bunch when they see a thread or post where someone is complaining about something. Is it really that hard for a person, when they see such a thread, to...oh I dunno...ignore it? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

People think if they miss ticket sales its the end of the world, here's a saying i have come across:

    "there always are tickets"

And its always been true :) If you want something bad enough you'll put the effort into searching tbh.
