I think our man Stone deserves a thread of his own! This tour he seems to be on fire - really rocking out on stage. I thought it was a joy to watch him play. And of course, the long hair look goods on him as well

So anyone who agrees, share your thoughts and/or pictures!

My mate sent me a picture the day after the O2 show of him standing with Stone!!!! He ended up meeting up with some people he got chatting to at the SBE show, and they happened to have a load of contacts in the industry, and got them backstage! Lucky bastard!

    A Living Legend.

The godfather of grunge. He wrote 85% of Green River's songs. The guy doesn't get the respect he deserves as the pioneer of music that he is...

Stone writes the best songs, I guess Ed just doesn't let them to be on the albums: Fatal, Strangest Tribe, Hard To Imagine to name a few...He really should be the main songwriter for Pearl Jam. Not to mention all the great MLB guitar parts. He's the riff-master! A -class really! 8-)

ah i remember this, it was funny! mike gave him a look like 'dude, wheres your guitar?', then he did his little dance :D

    Stone is a legend!!!!
  • I'm still thrilled that Stone covered a Johnny Thunders song the other night - You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory. That's one of my all-time favorite songs and I'd love to be able to hear Stone's pre-set solo rendition - anyone know where I can listen? I doubt that will wind up on the official boot.

Anyway, love Stone, always have, and love him more now that he's covering one of my favorite '70s punk guitarists!!

I agree. After Yield, it doesn't seem like he's got much on the albums, and that always disappoints me. I can always tell which songs are his.

And I love his solos at shows. I always get so excited for DTE, Not for You, etc.

Stone is perfection in this video. Watch his comment at 3:45- he's got a great sense of humor. 4:27-4:38 is the best part. I laugh out loud every time I see it.

He's the kind of guy I'd like to marry and have a beer with. Not necessarily in that order.
