Anyone else notice how many Kenyon Halls are up on ebay - considering the 10c's resale policy, should I assume a lot of people at the gig coincidentally all decided to unload them? I know the policy is hard to enforce, but it may be much easier on this print then almost any other.

It's not EBay's responsibility to enforce the 10C's policy. It's the 10C's responsibility.

    happens everyday
and it is tough to tell where the posters originally came from

if they got em at the show or through brad, resale is not prohibited

Resale is prohibited for prints purchased through Artillery. I am saying with this show it is pretty obvious where these 6 posters came from.

sellers have been sent friendly reminders that reselling 'not for resale' items purchased via the 10c will result in loss of 10c membership.

How is it any different than people coming on here everyday having a poster sale and asking anything over $25+shipping for them? I haven't looked but I'll bet you can go to the main page and find atleast 3 'Poster Sales' that will say something like:

I decided to sell some of my posters PM me if you are intrested

    Toronto 2006 $50
    Gorge 2005 $500
    Hawaii 2006 $200
    Chicago 2006 $75

so on and so on. They always claim to be the price they paid for it, which is why it is marked higher than what it should be. Unless they crack down on that, how is it any different than being put up on ebay?

the slight difference is that at least they are listing an asking price.

its when they try to use the pit as an alternative ebay and start auctionss without listing prices, also avoiding all the ebay fees.

You are right - the policy is a bitch to enforce and is rife with opportunity to get around. It is perfectly within the boundaries of the rules to offer posters for sale here if they were acquired at a gig or in a trade etc. (even though it has gotten out of control). And is pretty easy for almost anyone to say "I was at the show" and thus circumvent the policy. HOWEVER this show imparticular is unique in the fact that:

    a. there were only 200 people there
    b. no one outside of West Seattle knew it was happening
    c. 10c just shipped out 100 or so of them in the last 10 days

You don't have to be a genius to assume the posters being sold were acquired through the 10c.

I would simply put all of the sellers on notice that they violated the policy and ask them to convince me otherwise. A reverse onus as it is called in Canadian law
