greetings to all. if any similar thread have been already open to this topic, please, direct me. I am new here on forum and it will take a while till I organize myself in all the posts here.

I am so sad that PJ had so few concerts during the current tour in Europe. so hard to reach any ticket and too far from my hometown.
are there any rumours, news etc, that the band will return to Europe next year? any chance to address this as an official appeal to have some concerts in Wien, Prague, Zagreb, Budapest, Bratislava etc? (I mean at least in one of the cities)?
I am aware of the fact that I might be the only one complaining and really not sure if there is any chance that guys/manager of the band can get this appeal on the table.
It may sound a lot naive from my side, just trying to do anything to express my sadness about this situation
thanks, lads

    Welcome on the board:)
You are not the only one who would like see PJ more often in Europe.
But unfortunatelly Ed said on, as I remember, Manchester show - They won't be here for a while. What does it mean? I hope - only a few months, not a few years.

    Sorry...

yeah, probably till I joined TC. I tried to get some on Manchester show, London shows, Berlin, no luck. I might be late.
That`s one of the reasons I joined TC. not the only one. hope to have good chat with all you lads. Looking for a new album
Good to hear that I am not the only one to feel the lack of european shows. hopefully PJ get back soon

Heard Stone in a radio interview a few weeks ago they prefer touring in small sections but i really thought they could have done more than 4 shows. But that is how they do things. Ed did say it would be a long time till they are back in Europe so some of us were lucky that we got see any of the 4.

I dunno, I wouldn't be surprised if they come back sooner than they said. When you think about it, they are going to want to tour the new record to promote it. So they're doing a stint across North America now, then Australia/New Zealand. Realistically, where else do they tour? South America......I wouldn't be at all surprised if they came back and did some festivals in Europe and maybe a few random dates next summer, like they did in 2006/2007.

If I remember correctly, the initial promotional releases for the European dates mentioned that the band would be back for a more comprehensive tour early in 2010.
However, there were comments from Eddie in London that the band wouldn't be back this way for some time. Hopefully we'll get a full European tour soon.
When we found the things we loved,
They were crushed and dying in the dirt.
We tried to pick up the pieces,
And get away without getting hurt,
But they caught us at the state line,
And burned our cars in one last fight,
And left us running burned and blind,
    Chasing something in the night.

He might just have said it as an off the cuff remark. If for example they played Reading again next year that would still be a year away, quite a while.....
  • Apparently Ed said in Germany that they will be back next year. I'm almost certain of it :) They'll need to tour the album extensivley to promote it heavily on the road if they are self-releasing.

Exactly. Judging from early reviews and the songs we've heard already, it seems like the band are pushing to have a crack at the mainstream again, so extensive touring will be a must.

I wasn't there but I read something about it on the boards here.
Apparently, he also said that they'll be playing 5 consecutive nights in Wroclaw's 'hala ludowa' and one on 'wyspa slodowa' so I can walk to the gigs.
