Did they do poster wrist-bands at Toronto?

Hey guys, I am taking a poster tube with me for Chicago II, but I was wondering if they were doing poster wristbands again this year. That was a MUCH BETTER system and I'm hoping they do it again.

yes - you bought the poster and could take it to a certain merch tent (outdoor venue) and drop it off for a wristband, come back later to pick it up. they had small tubes available for a $2 donation (to what I don't know)..

also, coming from the preparty with a couple people who picked up posters from the auction/raffle, security would not allow the mailing tubes in, they had to take the posters out and toss the tubes before they were allowed in.. the $2 tube is not a mailing tube, a bit thicker then a christmas paper roll and the ends fold in to keep stuff from falling out. nothing fancy but it does the trick..

  • Here is what I did for poster transport last year. I went to Staples and picked up plastic poster bags. Don't pay just tell them you purchased some large copies the other day and you need one or two. Then you just fold up the bag and stick it in you pocket till you need it at the end of the show. Worked great for me. :)
