MSG 98 - BABA Question

Before baba o'rielly, ed talks about an "inferior band" trying the song the night before on mtv or something. He says well show you how its really played and that Corp Cocksuckers should leave songs like this alone.

Anyone know who the band was?

    Third Eye Blind was the band. I think they played it at the American Music awards.

    yeah, it was third eye blind. Stephen Jenkins (3eb vocalist) got into a huge fuss over the comments made and went on tv and was complaining about it.

    I read this on the http://www.fivehorizons.com page on the facts page somewhere.

    I'ver seen 3eb twice, first time was excellent, 2nd time was so- so but during the violent moshpits that had taken place during the prior bands (It was a festival,) I see why 3eb wanted to calm everyone down.

    However, 3eb's new song is horrible. I really think musically they have lost it.
